How it started
It began when friends started painting with me, I discovered how much I love guiding them in developing concepts and bringing their ideas to life. The relaxed and fun togetherness is kind of magical.

Also, I had been pondering for a while on how I could share what I've learned working over 5 years as a product manager and director at Clue - a period tracker and women's health app used by 10 million people every month. I was considering: should I create a menstrual cycle workshop?

I'm not entirely sure what triggered the idea to combine the two, but it was simmering for a while. Even after many years interviewing women about intimate topics, I was still hesitant and influenced by social taboos. Can I really create a vulva painting workshop?

I did.

The vulva is the visible part—the top of the iceberg—for so many menstrual, reproductive, and sexual topics that have been ignored and silenced for centuries. When we can speak openly about vulvas, we start breaking the silence.

My hope is that this workshop creates awareness, sparks "Aha!" moments, and spikes a desire to change. And that these vulva paintings will live in homes and create ripple effects.
